Therapeutic Approach
Avani takes a trauma informed approach in her therapy sessions and uses an eclectic approach to suit the needs of her clients. She uses strategies from various schools of thought such as cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness based approaches, EMDR, somatic practices and so on. She has been working closely with Individuals suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Personality disorders to name a few. Her strengths involve understanding needs and goals of her clients and designing interventions accordingly.

- Presented a paper on “”Dimensions of Personality and Internet Addiction in Young Adults in conference organized by Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists in February 2018.
