Her interests are working with young adults, families, individuals with substance abuse and behavioural difficulties as well as neuro-divergent clients (ADHD, Autism spectrum, externalising spectrum). She believes that recovery is effective only when it is holistic. She also integrates and promotes eastern methods in her practice like mindfulness based strategies. She is also trained in CBT, REBT, ACT, DBT therapies.

Her clinical interest areas are ADHD, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Substance Use Disorders (SUDs), Complex PTSD (cPTSD) and non-clinical interest areas are adjusting with role transitions / major life changes, grief, interpersonal effectiveness (enhancing relational wellbeing).

Couple & Family Work: Dr. Tanya has a wide range of experience working with families and couples struggling with mental health concerns, and relational injuries.
